When I’m travelling on the east coast, I usually get one of two responses. ~
“Oh, you’re from Iowa. Do you grow potatoes?”
Yes, we grow potatoes. In the garden. But you’re probably thinking of Idaho, which is famous for its potatoes. ~
“I have a brother/aunt/pet in Cleveland.”
Oh? Interesting. ~
When traveling, John K. VanDyk has the same problem as everyone else from Iowa. Nobody seems to know where Iowa is.
