The Microsoft Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool checks computers for and helps remove infections by specific, prevalent malicious software—including Blaster, Sasser, and Mydoom.
Microsoft releases an updated version of this tool on the second Tuesday of each month.
This should automatically be included in the Microsoft updates. If you have a high-speed connection, it is best to let the updates download automatically, however not install automatically. This way you can choose which updates you would like to omit. But I won’t say it aloud (SP2).
