The Anti-Dihydrogen Monoxide Coalition (ADMC) is located in Ames, Iowa. The goal of the ADMC is to raise public awareness of dihydrogen monoxide (DHMO). The alarming environmental contamination and widespread unrestricted use of DHMO has never been more prevelent nor dangerous than it is at this very moment. Through sharing facts and information they educate the ignorant about the dangers of DHMO.
Dihydrogen Monoxide in the environment
Environmental Contamination from DHMO has been found in all 50 states. There are large amounts of DHMO in virtually all of our lakes, rivers, and streams. It’s a major component of acid rain. It’s found in biopsies of pre-cancerous tumors and lesions. You can get more facts at DHMO.org.
Be sure to read this before personally taking any action regarding DHMO.
Note: As a science fair project, this would probably have a good effect.
Hi,
My name is Donovan and i am a 14 year old in the 9th grade and i just had to tell u that if u think dihydrogen monoxide is a dangerous chemical then you are wrong.
If you would just break down the name you would find what it actualy is:
1.)dihydrogen- di=2 + hydrogen
2.)monoxcide- mon=1 + oxide or oxygen
If you put 2 hydrogens and 1 oxygens together then what do you get?
H2O!!!!
As I hope you already know H2O means water, so next time why don’t you do a little research first.
Donovan
Thanks for the info, Donovan. I hope you had fun at my site.
