Licensed drivers were administered 20 questions found on a typical DMV written drivers test. The 2006 findings indicate drivers still do not have adequate knowledge of basic rules of the road.
Oregon drivers ranked highest on the test ~ and Rhode Island ranked lowest.
Iowa is 9th (we used to be 3rd).
NH is 26th in the US. And I got 80% correct, which places me below even NH drivers.
Does it count that I got my license in MA? They are known for their pathetic driving skills and are ranked 48th in the US.
(And as someone who drives in MA every day, let me tell you that them there stats ain’t lyin’ none!
I got a 100% on my first try, but there were a couple of questions where I more or less guessed. For example, it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a “Slow Moving Vehicle” sign, even though there are plenty of cars on the freeway that seem to need them.
I got 100%! I’m not suprised I’m an excellent driver.
hmmmm…you guys got 100%, eh?
Well, the only pride I can take is that I got 80% even though I was trained in MA.
Do I get some kinda consolation prize for that?
Landy,
Aren’t YOU that guy in the fast lane that needs a “Slow Moving Vehicle” sign?
Danny,
At least you were honest about your test scores. Where is the proof that Landy actually GOT 100%?
