I’d never seen anything like it, 9 minutes of adrenalin that simply leaves your jaw on the floor.
You can almost hear him saying “If you don’t like the way I drive, stay off the sidewalk”.
Really – you could kill someone.

Yeah, I saw this about a month ago. Wanted to talk about it then.
I cannot believe this guy was not hunted down and thrown in jail!
It’s amazing when he actually changes his mind at that one turn. He is going to turn right, and figures out that he is not going to make it at that speed and veers left. And up on the sidewalk with that lady standing there! WOW.
I watched the thing and I just kept waiting for him to wrap that car around something.
Hey! Codepoke! Great to see ya’ over here.
I don’t mean to be a downer, Joel. But I watched that video and I must say, I copped a HUGE attitude toward the guy. All I could picture is my family stepping out from behind one of those cars on one of the side streets, right in front of this knucklehead.
After reading the info from the links provided, I am more convinced that this guy needs a good caning!
I understand your comments. A few years ago, my daughter was T-boned by a car that was going 85 in a 35. We were thrilled that she lived through it. There are some pictures at http://www.geocities.com/joelschu/joscars.html
Wow, Joel. I am really amazed she survived that. What kind of car did that used to be?
Don’t get me wrong about the comments. I think fast cars are awesome. I think really great drivers are awesome as well. That video just made my skin cringe, that’s all.
Glad your daughter’s alright.
She was pretty beat up, broken bones and other problems, but survived and returned to her normal self. One thing that still amazes me is the third picture. It shows the driver’s door right next to the floor shifter in the middle of the car.
The car was a really nice Pontiac Sunbird convertible. It was the first (and only) convertible that I ever owned. She rarely let me drive it. To make matters worse, she didn’t like driving it with the top down – too windy.
